No Shame

No Shame is Austin’s preeminent open mic performance series. Don’t miss it! Sign ups begin at 9:30 pm. All pieces must be original and under 5 minutes long. We’re limited to 15 slots. Don’t hurt the stage or the audience. Otherwise, no limits. Script in hand or memorized, funny, musical, dramatic, dance, bad, weird, or just what the hell, all styles of performance are welcome.

And it’s absolutely free!!!!

A magic trick involving, a tissue, an egg, and a fight with her girlfriend.

2.  Katie Thorton, Susannah Raulino, Topping Haggerty – Not in a Box

Performance piece with Katie rapping, Susannah reading Dr, Seus, Topping singing while cutting off a lot of Susannah’s hair.

3. Sara Farr and Jayme Ramsey – Object Theater

Object Theater brings to life a bell and a headband.

4. Justin Davis -Story by Numbers

Justin talks about turning 30 and the days that lead up to it that included moving, getting, fired, cutting his foot, and a couple flat tires.

5.Ruby Willmann – Untitled

Ruby performed some slam poetry about her awkward teen years

6. Sara Farr, Menelaos, Susannah – Puppet Improv Project

Climbing a tree.  A tall, tall Chesnut tree.

7. Kerri Lendo – I went on vacation

I went to London and Croatia guys.

8. Alex Gray – Glenwood Cultural Society

Alex gave a short biography of Edgar Alan Poe and performed some of the raven with guests and sound effects. All up in the audiences face.

9.  Stag – How to Talk to Women

A class on how to talk to women and the two clueless (dumb?) students who take it.

10.Josh Ronsen – Commerical

A commercial for arm hair shampoo using audiences members as guests.  Enthusiastic audience members.

11. Ross Smith – Karma

A story about what happens when you pressure someone in buying a junk car.

12.  Band of Liars – Improvised song

A stubbed toe, The Color Purple, the zoo, and more.
