Graduates of the Merlin Works Narrative Longform Series (Improv 401 – 601) perform a run of improv comedy shows in the genre of their choosing, opening the Saturday Night Special for some of the biggest acts in town. The latest round of Improv 601 graduates present The Amazing Improvised Race.
The Amazing Improvised Race is an improv comedy show inspired by the reality competition show The Amazing Race and Survivor. Starring the graduates of the Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation Narrative Longform Series, The Amazing Improvised Race is opening Gnap! Theater Projects’ Saturday Night Special December 3, 10 and 17 at 10pm. Once the audience suggests the special quality of the shows teams (such as relationships, occupations and/or physical impairments), improvisers spin a competition show spanning the globe where anything can happen to help or hinder the teams toward the finish line and possible elimination.
