Marc Majcher
Marc Majcher is an avid improviser, amateur game designer, professional computer smartie. He has thrown down in New York City, San Francisco, and now lives in South Austin, where he intends to die. He has been doing the make-’em-ups with his troupe, Improv For Evil, since 2005, and been a part of way too many productions in the short time he’s been active in the Austin improv community. He loves to
improvise dramatic long-form stories, but refuses to pull back from any challenge on stage, no matter how wacky or insane.
When he’s not performing, directing, teaching, or playing a giant evil disembodied head in the Nightmare Video Project at the Hideout Theatre, he is fortunate enough to get to play with the other Gnap!
troublemakers in shows like Lola, Guilds of Steel, One More Night, Seance: A Meeting of the Blackbower Mediums, Mongoose, and Sandbox.
Marc has also performed in/with Start Trekkin’, Improvised Shakespeare, Austin Secrets, Kabaam!, After School Special, The Plagiarists, Improvised Dickens, This Week Tonight, Maestro, Who Is T. Henry Baudecliffe, The Asides, SHOT, did voice and radio for audio dramas (Bellydancing Ninjas!), toured the country with the Intergalactic Nemesis, took the first national charades championship with his team, I Drink Your Milkshake, and performed for forty-one hours straight in the 2010 Improv Marathon.
Marc has a daughter named Paidia, a turtle named Tuck, and an undying loathing for people who don’t know how to use turn signals properly.
